So, did you enjoy your Easter Sunday?
Along with attending church services and convening over proper eats with your family and friends, it’s obvious that a huge number of you turned out to see Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too?” The film snagged a whopping $30 million at the box office, hence we have a feeling that a certain someone had a very fabulous weekend—congrats Mr. Perry!
Last week, Monica topped the charts with her latest, “Still Standing,” and this week, we’re wondering how Usher and Erykah will fair in the first-week album sales race. Also, we’re looking forward to what songstress, Vivian Green, will bring with her new album, “Beautiful,” which will be available on Tuesday.
And for all of you Common fans out there, don’t forget that he’ll be back on the big screen this Friday with “Date Night.” Though he’s co-starring with Tina Fey and Steve Carrell this go ’round, just consider this film a warm-up for his starring role opposite Queen Latifah for the sports-driven, romantic comedy, “Just Wright,” coming next month.
As we get geared up to kick off this brand, new week, we offer you a bit of advice, courtesy of Macy Gray—“Get up, get out, and do something.”
