Radar 6/21: The Pop Culture Periscope
Hey ladies! Last week was a doozy wasn’t it? From BP executives flubbing their apologetic speeches with “small people” phrases, to Seattle police officers punching our teenagers, it was almost too much! Fortunately, this week we celebrate the beginning of the American Black Film Festival, Brooklyn’s Afro-Punk festival and the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death. And instead of being sad, we’re thanking our lucky stars that we were blessed enough to ever cut a rug to “P.Y.T” and “Off The Wall.” He was truly the King of Pop.
