Broadway: “Fela” the musical celebrating the life and sounds of one of Africa’s most well known musicians opens tonight. The musical, which has received raves in preview, is choreographed by the legendary Bill T. Wednesday, November 25:
Film: Disney’s latest animated “The Princess and the Frog” opens in limited release today, just in time for the holiday weekend. The story of the Black princess Tiana (voiced over by Anika Noni Rose) who lives in the Jazz Age who must kiss a frog is a great movie for the kids. “The Princess and the Frog” is in theaters in Los Angeles and New York today. It will open nationwide on December 11.
TV: Actress Paula Patton appears on “The Jay Leno Show.” The star of the critically acclaimed film “Precious”, the wife of R&B signer Robin Thicke, and the mommy-to-be chops it up with Leno. “The Jay Leno Show” is on at 10:00 p.m. ET (check local listings) on NBC.
