First comes love. Then comes marriage. Now, here comes a baby in a baby carriage for Ray J and his wife, Princess Love.
The singer and reality star announced on The Real on Monday afternoon that he and his Mrs. are going to be parents.
“Princess and I, we’re expecting,” he revealed as he got cheers from the audeince and warm wishes of congratulations from talk show hosts Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, Lonnie Love and Adrienne Bailon.
As for the sex of the baby, Ray J is thinking pink.
“I want to have a little girl first,” he said. “It’s like daddy’s little girl. Well I want to be able to have some peace first.”
The 36-year-old and the starlet wed in August of 2016 in a gorgeous ceremony in the presence of family and friends including Ray J’s big sister Brandy.
Ray J reminded every one that he and Princess were vocal about their desire to expand their family on the VH1 reality series, Love and Hip-Hop: Hollywood.
“It was special because we were trying for a while. It’s not as easy as people think. It’s not just. For some people, they just go on tour and get everybody pregnant. For me it was love. We took our time. And then as we were taking our time, it just took a little while.”
It looks like their wish is finally coming true–congrats!
