On Friday night, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida was reportedly charged with identity theft and bank fraud in Atlanta after being implicated in the crimes during a Secret Service counterfeit investigation.
Nida, who’s married to lawyer and co-star Phaedra Parks, allegedly created bogus companies to gain access to private databases and steal personal information about customers. Court documents are claiming that Nida then used that information to take on fake identities and cash stolen U.S Treasury and retirement checks, TMZ reports.
Nida hasn’t commented publicly, but yesterday he was seen engaging fans on Twitter who were mocking him over the news.
Access Atlanta was the first to break this story.
