For most of last year, Rihanna was red hot in a bevy of bright crimson hairstyles, ranging from big kinky curls, to a short, swingable bob. In August, the diva debuted her new auburn shoulder-length curls as she launched her Reb’l Fleur fragrance and closed out her tour in Europe. At the start of 2012, Rihanna stepped out in a Tina Turner-esque platinum blonde style which she wore in both curly and straight styles. Her new jet-black ‘do is a deviation from her year of bright color and a return to the shade that made her mane one of the most copied hairstyles of our era back in 2007.
