Despite a recent hospital stay in April, Robin Roberts says sheโs in good health, according to People.
โI feel great,โ said the Good Morning America anchor. โI feel the best Iโve felt in a long timeโand I mean that sincerely.โ
Itโs evident from her Twitter account that fans get worried about her. Roberts took off last Thursday and Friday to rest. She later addressed concerns about her TV absence on Twitter.
โItโs really funny because Iโm not able to work a full week yet,โ said Roberts at Mondayโs 12th Annual Women Who Care Luncheon benefiting United Cerebral Palsy of New York City. โโฆBut itโs Monday, and having the long weekend, I come back and itโs like a rebirth,โ said Roberts. โSo Iโm very grateful.โ
Robertsโ health has been in the headlines ever since her myelodysplastic syndrome diagnosis last year. She underwent a bone marrow transplant in September and returned to work in late February.
Although she talks openly about her health challenges, Roberts has never given up hope. โI think that I am being used for light and love and resilience,โ Roberts told Parade in late March. โFor whatever reason, Iโm able to touch people and Iโm so grateful for that.โ
