Who needs a mic drop when you can just throw your sticks in the air after a stellar performance?
Sheila E and the E Family took over the Democratic National Convention stage last night as attendees couldn’t help but jump to their feet as Prince’s former lover and musical protégé let loose on the drums. With her dad and brother by her side, the 58-year-old percussionist rocked the stage with an energetic, must-see performance, and she looked fabulous while doing it.

Wearing a white blazer, black turtleneck and black slacks, Sheila E even brought herself to her feet and she didn’t break a sweat (at least not that we could see).
And of course, social media fully supported the three-and-a-half-minute show, and empathized for Hillary having to follow such a show.
By the end of the night, Sheila didn’t have to say a word because her presence said it all, #ShesWithHer!
