Just when you thought producer and ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood honoree Shonda Rhimes couldn’t fit any more on her plate, she continues to amaze. Rhimes has been tapped to create a new FBI drama called Under the Gun for NBC, reports the The Hollywood Reporter.
The show will follow a woman with a dark past who joins the FBI as a field agent. Rhimes hopes to make this the fourth big hit under her belt. She’s already responsible for hit shows Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice, and most recently, last year’s breakout political drama Scandal, which stars fellow BWIH honoree Kerry Washington.
