Step 1: Create a center part and brush into two pony’s on each side. Tie tight with an elastic band.
Step 2: Spray a heat protectant and micro crimp the ponytail starting from elastic band to the ends of hair complete entire pony.
Step 3: Slice a thin layer of hairs on top and below the tail and clip upper and away. Start at the top of pony and back brush creating the base for the bubble is formed.
Step 4: Release the slice hair, spray Biolage Complete Control brush smooth over the base created and tie elastic around bubble of hair. Repeat technique.
Step 1: Working from the center part, sub-divide the hair in 1″ by 1″ 1/2 subsections.
Step 2: Braid a 3-strand braid. Repeat on opposite sides.
Step 3: Once the braids are completed, drape the braid as a halo around the head. Use a clear elastic band to secure the two braids together.
Step 1: Section out horse shoe subsection on top of head. Clip with bobby pins to secure. Step 2: Working just below the horse shoe section, back brush the top of sections creating a base and fullness spray a bit of hairspray to entire section below the horse shoe. Step 3: Release the horse shoe subsection and create a center parting. Start on the left side roll the hair and spray a bit of holding spray.
Step 4: While smoothing, pin into center of nape. Repeat on right side.
Step 1: On damp hair make a center parting and apply Matrix Biolage Styling Gelée from scalp to mid lengths then spray Matrix Biolage Smoothing shine Milk.
Step 2: Once product is apply take 1″ by 1″ square subsections and braid the using three strand technique (normal braid) repeat until head is totally completed.
Step 3: Allow the Hair to set and dry. Once all the braids are dried release the braids. Step 4: Apply with hands Matrix Biolage Styling Agave Nectar Control Gel to smoothing and control unwanted Frizz.
Step 1: For intricate braids like this, you will want to start with a base in the shape or form that you want the braids.
Step 2: Try using something like a super tall top hat turned upside down as your base to achieve the wide-brimmed crown effect.
Step 3: Braid in a circular shape around the hat until complete.
Step 4: Use several stray pins to secure crown on top of the hair.
