Once again, ESPN television host, Sage Steele has catapulted herself into the spotlight for interesting sentiments regarding the current state of the country.
The bi-racial —as she likes to be noted— anchor took to Instagram on Sunday to share her upset with missing a flight, because of the protest surrounding the unconstitutional #MuslimBan executive order placed by President Donald Trump.
Steele says, “So THIS is why thousands of us dragged luggage nearly 2 miles to get to LAX, but still missed our flights.”
Adding, “Fortunately, a 7 hour wait for the next flight to Houston won’t affect me that much, but my heart sank for the elderly and parents with small children who did their best to walk all that way but had no chance of making their flights. I love witnessing people exercise their right to protest! But it saddened me to see the joy on their faces knowing that they were successful in disrupting so many people’s travel plans. Yes, immigrants were affected by this as well. Brilliant.”
The last time we heard from this crusader for America speak politically was in regards to Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans’s decision to kneel at the start of the National Anthem to protest Donald Trump’s election. She dissented his stance by posting a photo of a White man at a military gravesite to signify all lives matter.

She also went on to write a diatribe about good hair, Black people needing to “embrace diversity,” and how humbled she is by her White husband who “followed his color-blind heart” to marry her.
In one word: Canceled.

Sage Steele is that black friend.
The Black Delegation would like to trade Sage Steele for Shia LeBouf and a pack of Now & Laters.

Girl, here’s the thing: The whole point of protest is to disturb. It’s to shake up people’s daily activities and awaken the ignorant to serious issues plaguing disenfranchised communities. And maybe if less time were spent pacifying the unaware, we’d get more done in this country— and wouldn’t have to protest at all.
