Once again, ESPN television host, Sage Steele has catapulted herself into the spotlight for interesting sentiments regarding the current state of the country.
The bi-racial โas she likes to be notedโ anchor took to Instagram on Sunday to share her upset with missing a flight, because of the protest surrounding the unconstitutional #MuslimBan executive order placed by President Donald Trump.
Steele says, โSo THIS is why thousands of us dragged luggage nearly 2 miles to get to LAX, but still missed our flights.โ
Adding, โFortunately, a 7 hour wait for the next flight to Houston wonโt affect me that much, but my heart sank for the elderly and parents with small children who did their best to walk all that way but had no chance of making their flights. I love witnessing people exercise their right to protest! But it saddened me to see the joy on their faces knowing that they were successful in disrupting so many peopleโs travel plans. Yes, immigrants were affected by this as well. Brilliant.โ
The last time we heard from this crusader for America speak politically was in regards to Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evansโs decision to kneel at the start of the National Anthem to protest Donald Trumpโs election. She dissented his stance by posting a photo of a White man at a military gravesite to signify all lives matter.

She also went on to write a diatribe about good hair, Black people needing to โembrace diversity,โ and how humbled she is by her White husband who โfollowed his color-blind heartโ to marry her.
In one word: Canceled.
"Ma'am we don't have time for this, some of us are trying to get home" - sage steele to Rosa parks
Girl, hereโs the thing: The whole point of protest is to disturb. Itโs to shake up peopleโs daily activities and awaken the ignorant to serious issues plaguing disenfranchised communities. And maybe if less time were spent pacifying the unaware, weโd get more done in this countryโ and wouldnโt have to protest at all.
