Great news for Solange Knowles: she will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live the first week of November.
This will mark Solange’s debut performance on the long-running NBC series, fresh off the release of her third album, “A Seat at the Table.”
The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts earlier this month, making both Solange and Beyonce the first sisters to debut at the top of the charts in the same year.

A Seat at the Table has also inspired a plethora of covers with many taking Solange’s vibes and strong message throughout the album.
The Nov. 5 SNL show should draw big numbers: it will be the last episode before the election on Nov. 8, and the first after taking a week off next week. It will be hosted by Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch.
Just another reason for Miss Tina to keep stanning for her daughters.
