The actress, best known for her role as Dionne in the ’90s teen movie Clueless, tweeted a photo of a CD with the caption, “It’s mastered… so excited to share my first baby with you all.”
Her first song, “Life of the Party,” a dance-techno track featuring Blake Smith, was produced by Emcee N.I.C.E. and debuted over the weekend. Although Dash doesn’t sing any verses, her vocals are heard over the hook.
Most recently Dash made headlines when she announced she would be writing a book on her life. “It’ll be about me, my daily ritual and what I do every day to be Stacey Dash,” she said. “It’ll be about what I’ve done in the past, the mistakes I’ve made and the lessons I’ve learned.”
