Comedian Steve Harvey will be taking his final bow as the long-time reigning “King of Comedy” this August. The actor and radio show personality announced that his final stand-up performance will be at the 10th Annual Ford Hoodie Awards in Las Vegas.
Harvey, who has graced comedy stages around the world for more than 25 years, says that to move up to the next level “the thing you shed is going to have to be something that you care very deeply about,” reports EUR web.
Harvey’s final performance will be a part of four days of events for this year’s Hoodie Awards. The ceremony honors everyday men and women for their accomplishments and commitment to their communities. Harvey said celebrating the 10th anniversary is very special to him. “I look forward to hosting an unforgettable weekend and seeing who will take home the Hoodie Awards this year!”
The event kicks off at the MGM Grand hotel and the comedy show will air live on Pay-Per-View on August 2.
