Designer Christian Siriano came to the aid of Leslie Jones after she tweeted that no designer would assist her in dressing her for her Ghostbusters reboot premiere.
It's so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie. Hmmm that will change and I remember everything

In speaking with THR, celebrity stylists have come to the defense of said designers, blaming Jones for her predicament being that “sample size” is generally a size four and Jones is estimated to be a size eight.
“This is nobody’s fault except Leslie’s,” said stylist Jeanne Paster. “She should have known four to five months ago the date of premiere, and said, ‘I’m not sample size, I need to go to designers early or buy myself a dress.’ Don’t be blaming designers and saying they don’t like you.”
No Designer Would Dress Leslie Jones for her ‘Ghostbusters’ Premiere
So why then, is Siriano able to assist? Surely not every affluent, middle-aged woman who purchases from high-end or luxury designer chains – yes, chains – is “sample size.”
It’s officially been confirmed that Siriano will be dressing Jones for the premiere; he emailed THR stating, “I love Leslie and I’m a huge fan of her work. I can’t wait to create something special for her to wear. Hopefully I will see her in my studio this week to make something new and exciting for her to wear. I support all women no matter age or size!”
Sorry, Paster. You can’t excuse the designers without excusing the bias.
