Tamar Braxton is putting her dancing shoes down, for a little while.
The Real host announced on Instagram Wednesday morning that she will no longer be in the running for Dancing with the Stars‘ coveted mirror ball trophy.
“With a heavy heart I regret to inform you that my season of #dwts has come to an end,” she wrote.
The youngest of the Braxton clan was hospitalized on Monday night for what was initially thought to be pneumonia.

“After yesterday’s final #dwts performance I went back to the hospital (after the doctors didn’t want me to leave in the first place),” she continued. “Only to find out that I don’t have pneumonia but something way more serious and that is having several P.E.’s (blood clots in both sides of my lungs).”
Braxton is also leaving her tour with Kem.
We wish the songstress a speedy recovery!
