In a recent interview with Rolling Out Magazine, the reality TV star admits she has felt moments of complete vulnerability.

After years of spending money and living through people, I woke up one day and all of that money was gone,โ she said, adding that she had to rely on food stamps and medical assistance. โI vowed from that moment on that I didnโt want my daughters to see me this way, and that I was going to do whatever it took to bring us back to the top.โ

Roman said she doesnโt blame every outburst completely on creative editing, but does think โthe producers have done a fantastic job of blowing out of proportion one aspect of my personality.โ
โI think that the audience who watches โBasketball Wivesโ is only seeing that aspect of my personality 100 percent magnified. They donโt see me working with my charity, and they didnโt see me when I was a part of corporate America going to work in a business suit every dayโฆ Thereโs so much about me that you donโt see because thatโs not what โBasketball Wivesโ wants to show.โ
