MSNBC’s Tamron Hall took Scott Baio to task following his speech at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
Baio, who previously tweeted a tasteless meme of Hillary Clinton in front of the word ‘count’ with the ‘o’ blocked, which as a result, looks to depict the c-word, was confronted by Hall over the tweet. “Let’s talk about your speech. I know you said you went to church and you talked about your religion, did you think about that in church when you tweeted it out?” Hall asked, adding, “I guess I’m asking, you’re writing your speech in church, you talk about religion coming back to this country and us having a moral barometer, where was your moral compass?”
The MSNBC anchor goes in on the actor and Baio does his best avoid the question by telling Hall that it’s “not nice” to question his faith and saying he just posted the image without commentary. Hall then questions Baio about the image of Michelle Obama he posted in 2010, “You tweeted out an unflattering image of Michelle Obama with the caption ‘wow, he wakes up to this every morning,” which the Happy Days actor tells Tamron was just a joke. “Does joking about a woman that way make America great again? Does that make America America again?” Hall asks.
Finally, Hall confronts him about blocking her on Twitter, which Baio chalks up to being a mistake. If you want to witness Tamron completely schooling Chachi, you can watch the clip here.
