Manhattan’s first Target is set to open in East Harlem later this month on July 25. In honoring the special history of the megachain’s new locale, Target partnered with local designers Isabel and Ruben Toledo, Stephen Burrows (whose colorful design is shown here) and celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson. Each designer created a limited-time only collection capturing the effervescent spirit of the historically Black neighborhood. As a brand that prides itself on giving back to the community, Target will be donating five percent of each product’s purchase price to a Harlem non-profit of the designers’ choice. Product prices range from $3.99 to $34.99, making for an affordable shopping trip for philanthropic buyers. Are you not in NYC, but want the goods? Beginning August 1, the collections will make their national premiere in select stores and on Target.com. Be sure to check it out! Stephen Burrows for Target Off-Shoulder Dress, $34.99
