Vulture has announced that actor and children’s author Taye Diggs is set to host a hypnotic comedy style game show, You’re Back in the Room.
Based on a U.K. series of the same name, Diggs will star in the eight-episode, one-hour game show which will feature a resident hypnotist and range of contestants.

Guests will be—you guessed it—hypnotized as they attempt to complete tasks that include all sorts of “everyday” simple tasks.
Diggs said that the show was something he just had to contribute to.
“The second I saw this show I knew I needed to be a part of it,” he said. “It’s the most unique blend of comedy and competition I’ve seen in years. I’m also quite excited as this is a program I can watch and laugh at with my 6-year-old son.”
Production is slated to begin in July and no air date has been shared.
