Terrence Jenkins announced that his time at E! News has come to an end.
The former 106 & Park co-host revealed on Tuesday that he was leaving the daily show after almost three years, E! Online announced.
“I wanted to announce today that I’ll be leaving E! News,” he said during the broadcast. “I took some time off this summer and I produced and I starred in my first feature film, and I’m really excited about it and it’s coming out at the top of the year….I’ve had a lot of opportunities come in in the acting space, both behind the camera and in front of the camera.”

Jenkins first got a taste of the acting life in front of the camera while starring in the 2012 romantic comedy Think Like a Man, inspired by the Steve Harvey book of the same name. He reprised his role in the 2014 sequel motion picture. He also appeared in the David E. Talbert feature film, Baggage Claim.
Before his official exit today, Jenkins thanked his fellow co-anchors and the viewers but said the decision was one that came with a lot of thought.
“It’s important I grow and I wanted to leave on my own terms and when I was ready.”
Best of luck Terrence!
