A pair of two-year-old besties from New York City are warming hearts all over the internet. That’s after one of the toddler’s father’s took a cell phone video of the cute comrades running to embrace one another in their Washington Heights neighborhood, and posted it to Facebook. The video now has nearly 185K views and 4.2 shares.
“I have no idea how to make things go viral, for those that do……please share,” Michael Cisneros captioned the video of his son Maxwell with friend Finnegan. “This is just so beautiful. Finnegan + Maxwell= BESTIES!!! If we could all be like this.” Cisneros tagged O, The Oprah Magazine, Oprah Winfrey, The Today’s Show, NBC New York, and TheEllenShow
Facebook users from LA to Canada to the UK all commented on how “cute” and “precious” the best buds are. One wrote, “Our innocence is so precious. Why we lose it is beyond me. To become an adult? The World would be such a beautiful place if we could remain in… this precious state. Michael D Cisneros your heart shines through this child.”
In an interview with ABC News, Cisneros told the outlet that the two boys are inseparable and have known each other for about a year. He also added that the two are partners in crime.
“When they are away from each other, they are always asking about one another,” he told ABC. “They go to music class together, Dana Banana (a weekly music event) and they love to dance — both are excellent dancers.”
No comment from the boys, but based on this video it’s safe to guess that the two plan on staying friends for a long time to come.
