It’s hard to believe the TV show Sister, Sister is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The beloved sitcom about then pre-teen twins Tia and Tamera Mowry holds a special place in the hearts of ’90s kids. To celebrate the anniversary, actress Tia Mowry-Hardrict tells OK! that she would love a movie version of the show.
“I would love to do Tia and Tamera go to Paris or to see where are they now,” she says. “Maybe one of them’s married one’s not, one of them’s extremely successful and the other one’s struggling and she has to help the one who’s struggling. One of them has a family, the other one doesn’t.”
Mowry-Hardrict adds that she’s a huge fan of the Sex & The City movies and loves how “they put the girls out of their comfort zone so I would love to see that. Tia and Tamera somewhere out of their comfort zone.”
Rumors of a Sister, Sister have been swirling for years, and Mowry-Hardrict hinted that it could be in the works.
