Tina Turner is denying reports made by several German and Dutch publications that she is recovering from a stroke. Turner’s spokesperson says, “Tina is in great health.” Stories surfaced about the alleged stroke after her driver Albert B. Cologne said, “She had a mild stroke but is well on the road to recovery.” Turner’s reps insist that she never had a driver named Albert B. Cologne and that she is in “excellent health.” [PageSix]

Usher has been cleared in a copyright infringement lawsuit regarding his song, “Bad Girl.” Dan Marino sued the star and others involved in the song claiming that he created the melody and tempo but was never credited. Pennsylvania Judge Paul Diamond ruled in favor of Usher, saying that the joint work and the parties were entitled to use it. [Billboard]
