When will Tomi Lahren ever learn?
The 24-year-old former The Blaze host hopped on Twitter to respond to a tweet made by The Hill quoting 2017 ESSENCE Festival speaker and Congresswoman. Maxine Waters about President Donald Trump.
“We must take our anger, our pain, our collective strength to right this wrong, to resist this tyranny and to save our democracy from a man whose immoral character and distorted thinking are an imminent threat to our nation,” Waters told The Hill in the full interview that was shared on Twitter.
Waters called Trump a “disgusting, poor excuse of a man” and slammed his Cabinet as “ill-prepared, right-wing billionaires”— which was tweeted out.
In response, the controversial right-winged unemployed woman, retweeted the headline with the caption, “Damn, I wonder what that makes you Maxine….”
Since Lahren isn’t great with facts, she should probably do her Googles to learn that Waters has a long highly-lauded career in activism and fighting for equal rights of women and people of color.

To even approach Rep. Waters should be done with the utmost respect and regard, and she certainly shouldn’t be disrespected behind closed doors or in a public setting. But there’s no need for us to read her, fellow 2017 ESSENCE Festival speaker Angela Rye already did.
When asked by Charlamagne tha God about Lahren’s comment she said, “So first of all, don’t you ever call —Tomi— an older Black woman by her first name. Get it right.”
“And she [Waters] is right about this,” noting Waters exchange with Bill O’Reilly who made fun of her hair, “That wig gon’ clap back. She’s [Lahren] coming for the wrong one.”
