The world has been tuned into every step Tracy Morgan has made since last summer’s car accident that left the comedian severely fighting for his life.
Slowly but surely, Morgan is making his triumphant return to what he does best—comedy—and he recently told Entertainment Tonight that he’s learning to embrace his newfound lease on life following the crash.

“The things that worried me and that were important before aren’t so important now,” Morgan told ET, crediting his recovery to his wife and daughter’s support. “When you spend weeks in comas, then you hear and see things differently. I see life differently. I embrace it more.”
His interview comes just weeks after he returned to his Saturday Night Live home as host, and he’s currently in the process of filming a Foot Locker commercial.
“And to my fans, I’m glad I was able to come back and finish the job of making them laugh,” he said. “This is for you.”
