R&B singer Trey Songz, 28, was arrested for allegedly assaulting Donna McIntosh-Inoe, 36 back in August at a Queens strip club where he held a party for his current album Chapter V.
McIntosh-Inoe snapped a cell phone picture of Songz at Club Perfection, when he quickly grabbed the phone and tried to delete the photo, reports The Daily News. After becoming frustrated with being unable to delete the image, Songz “chucked a wad of cash at me,” said McIntosh-Inoe, “It was insulting that he just threw something; He was verbally disrespectful as well.”
McIntosh-Inoe, a nurse from Staten Island attended the party with her husband and paid to sit with the singer in the VIP section. Songz was arrested one month after the scuffle, charged with misdemeanor assault and harassment, and an order of protection was issued after the artist appeared in court on November 1, said a spokeswoman for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
