Along with “supermodel and television mogul,” Tyra Banks will soon be adding “online entrepreneur” to her dazzling resume. Yesterday, the former Sports Illustrated cover model announced that her multi-million dollar company, Bankable Productions, will be partnering with Demand Media Inc. to launch a high-concept beauty and fashion website. Together, they plan to create an online experience that embodies Banks’ ongoing mission to expand the definition of beauty. The site will include an interactive web property, an online video series and unique mobile applications. “I’ve always been passionate about providing my audience with inspirational and instructional content to help them look and feel their best,” said Banks in a press statement. “With Demand Media, my dream is about to become a reality.”
