Tyrese Gibson is standing behind Vin Diesel amid speculation that he is feuding with Dwayne Johnson.
Following drama that erupted on the set of Fast 8 when The Rockcalled out some of his male costars as ‘chicken s—‘ and ‘candy-ass,’ Gibson has taken to Instagram in defense of Diesel – who is reportedly the target of his costar’s rant.
The 37-year-old star posted two photos of himself with Diesel, along with a lengthy message (with some NSFW language) to his “brother” on Thursday.
“Spreading love always….. without saying I’ve had too many moments to counts, too many heart too hearts, we’ve celebrated in too many countries, too many exchanges, too many play dates with our angels…… Our brotherhood and every moment has inspired me to be a better man and father,” he wrote. “So much strength to pull from….. I’m so f—- proud to call you my family and my brother.”
The actor seemingly referenced the feud, writing that he is “learning so much about sitting still and being centered in the [midst] of all of this unexpected energy.”
Gibson has been with the franchise since its first sequel and has starred alongside Diesel, 49, in four of the films.
“I’ve always said that if ONLY people knew how hard you work to protect this franchise and characters, minds would be blown,” Gibson continued. “The fans around the world who continue to show UP for us are just all around amazing…… And if no one else will jump out there and stand up I will – You’re my brother for life let’s keep it positive and keep rockin.”
He also posted a second photo of himself with Diesel on a red carpet. The two are all smiles as Diesel wraps his arm around Gibson.
This is the second time Gibson has spoken out on the matter. Earlier this week, the actor once again took to Instagram to cross himself off the list of suspects by saying The Rock’s “my brother and we never had a problem.”
The post, which has since been deleted, included video of Johnson singing to Gibson’s 9-year-old daughter, Shayla.
“Why are you guys so impressionable? A man wouldn’t be singing from his heart and soul to another man’s little angel if he had a problem with her dad,” he wrote in the post’s caption.

“DJ happens to be one of the most humble, down to earth and professional people I’ve ever worked with. More importantly, he’s my brother. We have NEVER had a problem and will never have a problem,” he continued.
While most of the cast has remained silent amid the drama, Ludacris posted a throwback photo of a slew of his Fast 8 costars – minus The Rock.
Diesel took to Instagram early Thursday morning to let his fans know how he’s doing, and while he didn’t directly reference the feud, he made a cryptic promise to his fans. “I will tell you everything. Everything,” he said.
The actor also appeared in a Facebook live event on Thursday, and while he talked about the franchise in general, he did not directly reference any tension between him and The Rock.
A source close to the production told PEOPLE the feud didn’t happen overnight. “Tension has been building up for months.”
Fast 8 is slated to hit theaters April 14, 2017
