UPDATE: Chris Henry Funeral Details

As previously reported, Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry’s funeral will be held in New Orleans on Tuesday December 22, 2009 at the Alario Center, the New Orleans Hornets’ practice space. The public will have an opportunity to view the fallen NFL star, who wore number 15 on the field, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST with the funeral proceedings commencing directly after the viewing.

The Bengals will charter a flight to New Orleans on Tuesday morning to pay their respects to their teammate and his family, with the team’s coach Marvin Lewis, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Henry’s agent David Lee set to deliver eulogies.

The NFLPA has created a memorial fund for Chris Henry, and a local trust fund for Henry’s three children has also been established at Fifth-Third Bank.
