According to the Hollywood Reporter, the concert will be of epic proportions — as viewers will get the opportunity to dance with him on stage.
The crooner and ESSENCE Music Festival alum will be using digital dancers to back him up throughout his concert at London’s Hammersmith Apollo theater. But during the song “Scream,” fans will be given the chance to have their online avatar cut a rug with the star.
“I am excited to introduce my new album with a worldwide performance in such an innovative way,” said Usher. “It’s very exciting to interact with my fans from a global stage through American Express Unstaged’s live stream.”
“Literally, people will be able to create their own avatar and have it dance on the screen with Usher,” said Hamis Hamilton, director of the concert webcast and Madonna’s 2012 Super Bowl halftime show.
