If you grew up in NYC in the last three decades, your life milestones were likely accompanied by the velvety voice of “Quiet Storm” DJ Vaughn Harper.
Unfortunately, the legendary WBLS DJ died Saturday, the radio station confirmed.
Harper became the signature voice of WBLS after he started DJing there in 1976. He voice was as smooth as the slow jams he played at night.
Native New York celebrities tweeted out the condolences on social media:
