Dope director, Rick Famuyiwa has been tapped in to direct The Flash, Deadline reports.
The up-and-coming director, who is steadily building an impressive résumé, both directed and scripted Dope, and, according to Deadline, has received Emmy season buzz for his direction of HBO’s Confirmation, the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas story that starred principal characters Kerry Washington and Wendell Pierce.

The Warner Bros film is said to release on March 16, 2018. In the meantime, Fumuyima is in studio working on the Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He will also appear in The Justice League Part One, claims Deadline.
