The White House has taken a stance against all of the women who have accused President Trump of sexually harassing them: they are lying.
During Friday’s press briefing, Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked about the White House’s position on the 16 women who have accused the president of sexually harassing them.
“Last week, during a press conference in the Rose Garden, the president called these accusations ‘fake news,’” she was asked. “Is the official White House position that all of these women are lying?”
“Yeah, we’ve been clear on that from the beginning, and the president’s spoken on it,” Sanders replied.
Last week, Trump denied accusations made by a former Apprentice contestant, according to CNN. Summer Zervos filed a sexual misconduct lawsuit against him, saying that the president repeated ”unwanted sexual touching.”
“All I can say is it’s totally fake news,” the president responded. “It’s just fake. It’s fake. It’s made-up stuff, and it’s disgraceful, what happens, but… that happens in the world of politics.”
