White Man Who Went On Racist Rant On Ryanair Flight Insists He's Not Racist
The white man, identified as David Mesher, claims that he just lost his temper when he verbally abused a black woman on a Ryanair flight.

The white man who called an elderly black woman an “ugly Black bastard,” and a “stupid ugly cow” is now insisting that he is not racist, apologizing for his behavior while aboard a Ryanair flight from Spain to England.
On Friday, the passenger, identified as David Mesher, said that he “lost [his] temper a bit,” Buzzfeed News reports.
“I’m not a racist person by any means and it’s just a fit of temper at the time, I think,” he said, before addressing the woman, Delsie Gayle, “I apologize for all the distress you’ve had there and since.”
Gayle had previously spoken about the distress she has gone through since the encounter.
“I feel really depressed about it. I go to bed and say ‘what have I done?’” she said.
Gayle is not so sure however, that she accepts Mesher’s apology.
“I don’t think so. We must forget and forgive but it’s going to take a long time for me to get over what he has done to me,” a still visibly shaken Gayle told Good Morning Britain.
