The White Woman Who Called Michelle Obama 'An Ape in Heels' Pleads Guilty For FEMA Fraud
Pamela Taylor is facing 30 years in prison after admitting that she took more than $18,000 in flood relief benefits by falsely registering for FEMA benefits.
A West Virginia woman who previously called our forever First Lady Michelle Obama “an ape in heels” has pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $18,000 in FEMA disaster benefits after the devastating June 2016 floods that claimed lives and significant property, U.S. Attorney Mike Stuart’s Office says.
Pamela Taylor admitted in court that she took more than $18,000 in flood relief benefits by falsely registering for FEMA benefits after the June 2016 floods that killed more than 20 West Virginians, WSAZ-3reports.
Taylor lied that her primary residence had been damaged in the flood and that she was forced to rent a place to stay. But it was all a lie and she was still living in her primary residence.
It was just over two years ago that she resigned from her county government development job for coming after Obama in a Facebook post soon after President Donald Trump took office. But she was secretly rehired only weeks later.
In her plea agreement, Taylor agreed to pay restitution of $18,149.04. She faces up to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $500,000 when she is sentenced on May 30.
