At the tender at of 15, Olivia Campbell came home from school and told her mother that she was not going back. After years of fat shaming and covering up, she had had enough.
In a recent installment of StyleLikeU‘s “What’s Underneath Project,” Campbell confidently stripped down to her underwear and bore her truth about bullying, owning her sexy and offered the ultimate badass description for why “fat” isn’t a bad word.
“I cry for the years I spent thinking I was worthless and useless,” she states in the video, thinking back on her childhood and the journey to loving herself.
Today, she’s a model and self-love advocate who believes we allow others to dictate who we are, stating, “its really easy to become resigned to the fact that this is who you are because this is what you’ve been told you are.”
