Jamie Foxx hinted to fans yesterday that he just might be playing the next villain in the upcoming sequel of The Amazing Spider-Man. “Dressed up as Electro Man for Halloween last night. Costume fits well,” Foxx tweeted.
The blockbuster, slated to hit theaters May 2, 2014, will feature Spider-Man’s enemy Max Dillon, whose alter-ego Electro has the ability to control electricity after being struck by a power line. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Columbia Pictures and the Oscar-winner are currently in talks about the role.
Foxx would work alongside Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, who starred in the first movie, directed by Marc Webb. The director could not speak about the deal, but cryptically commented on Jamie Foxx: “He’s electrifying!”
