Tonight famed movie producer Will Packer proposed to his longtime girlfriend. Before 40,000 fans packed into the Mercedes Benz Superdome, Packer got down on bended knee to pop the big question. “We met four years ago, here at ESSENCE,” said Packer. “Heather, you changed my life. You make me happier than words can express.”
Packer rose to fame in the ’90s and early ’00s after producing a number of movies. In recent years, Packer’s career grew to new heights when he signed on to produce Obsessed, Stomp the Yard, Think Like a Man and Think Like a Man Too, which is scheduled to debut in 2014.
