Will Smith celebrated Jaden Smith’s debut album, SYRE, reaching 100,000,000 streams on Spotify by recreating his son’s music video for “ICON.” The clip is hilarious and absolutely perfect with Smith ending it with a message to his son, “I’m proud of you baby. Kevin Hart is developing an animated series for FOX. Lil Kev is based on the comedian’s own childhood in North Philly and will feature the voices of Wanda Sykes, Deon Cole, Keith Robertson and Gerald “Slink” Johnson. (Deadline)
In a recent interview, Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, revealed that Chadwick Boseman didn’t need to audition for his role as T’Challa for the upcoming blockbuster Black Panther. Unlike other Marvel stars like Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr., execs only thought of Boseman for the role. Feige said, “I think it was 24 hours between saying his name in a creative story meeting and talking to his agent and getting on the phone with him.” (Variety)
Michael B. Jordan still lives with his parents, kind of. The Black Panther actor, who shares his home with mom and dad, told Ellen DeGeneres, “I love my parents but we have a roommate relationship right now, which is interesting. You get home-cooked meals but then you also have random trips to the kitchen in the middle of the night.” The actor did admit that things get a little uncomfortable sometimes, especially when his parents run into him while he’s half-naked. Cardi B is reportedly facing threats from gang members after posting an image of herself in a blue coat to Instagram. The rapper, who has stated she is a Blood, used “Flue” instead of “blue” when describing the coat, a nod to the Crips’ favorite color without using the word. (TMZ)
