Willow Smith’s first campaign for the brand is officially here and it’s fierce!
Announced as the newest face of Chanel in March, we’ve been patiently waiting for Willow’s debut and it did not disappoint.
The first images of the fall/winter 2016 eyewear campaign, shot by Karl Lagerfeld, were released today and feature the 15-year-old looking effortlessly cool while donning a chic pair of oversized frames. We may need to save up some coins for a new pair of Chanel sunnies.
Speaking to Teen Vogue in May, Willow revealed that it means a lot to be able to represent her culture for such a major fashion brands.
“Being a young African-American woman with dreads, it blows my mind that I’m a Chanel ambassador. I’m coming into a new part of my life that is completely unknown, and I’m jumping right in. All I can do from here is continue to shift paradigms and continue to push the envelope further and further.”
