Word on the Street: President Obama and the Oil Spill
On Monday President Barack Obama embarked on his fourth trip to the Gulf
Coast since the BP oil spill -- this time to Mississippi, Alabama and
Florida. Upon his return from the two-day trip, he
will address the nation in a televised speech this evening from the Oval Office about his next steps for the crisis. ESSENCE.com hit the streets of
Washington, D.C. to ask residents how they think the President has
handled the spill so far, and what they'd like to see him do next.
