The initiative, as well as her #62MillionGirls campaign, aims to help girls around the word go to and stay in school.

As reported by People, Zendaya is helping launch AOL’s new MAKERS STORIES app, which is giving 50 women the opportunity to be in the “This Is For My Girls” music video. The app will be used to crowd-source videos from women and girls across the globe. 50 of which will then be chosen and included in the music video.
The “This Is For My Girls” crowd-sourced music video will premiere May 23rd at the United State of Women, a summit organized by the White House that recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of women and girls.

“Arts and everything that I do in this industry is really just a platform for me to do much bigger things than myself, whether it be charity work or whether it be inspiring other young women or other young men to love themselves, that has become my passion,” shares Zendaya in her MAKERS STORIES interview.
“This Is For My Girls” is available on iTunes, with 100 percent of the proceeds from each single purchased donated directly to the Peace Corps Let Girls Learn Fund.
