Billionnaire Wissam Al Mana is the lucky guy who is married to Janet Jackson. The notoriously private couple make the perfect couple, but he’s not quite as well known as his iconic wife. As the parents-to-be prepare to welcome their first child together, here are 5 things you need to know about Janet’s husband, Wissam.
1. He’s a fashion tycoon worth $1 Billion.
Wissam calls all the shots for his family business as the executive director of Al Mana Group. He oversees the operating group activities for 50 compaines in the Gulf region in real estate, automative distribution, food services, media, engineering and construction. In addition, his fashion portfolio calls on clients from Hermes, Agent Provacateur and Sonia Rykiel.
2. He and Janet met in Dubai.
At a hotel opening in 2010, Janet and Wissam made a serious love connection. The two reportedly spent the later summer months vacationig in Sardinia.
3. He calls Janet his “Dream Woman.”
After the two tied the knot in a “quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony in 2012, Wissam was still on cloud nine gushing about his wife. “I’m fortunate enough to be dating my dream woman,” he said to Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. He also told VMAN magazine that Janet is a “very special and talented woman who never ceases to amaze me.”
4. He’s very studious
Wissam holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He attended the London School of Economics. Prior to getting his MBA, Wissam earned a degree from George Washington University after receiving his secondary education in London.
5. Wissam was born in the Middle East.
Wissam was born in Qatar, but later moved with his family to London at the age of two. He spent his childhood and teenage years there.
