Ladies, rejoice.
If you’ve been looking for a new morning show to fix your eyes on, TV One’s newest show, Sister Circle, may be just what you’ve been waiting for. Partnering with Tegna, the talk show is set to present a uniquely tailored experience for African-American women that focuses on sisterhood and everyday life.
Hosted by Quad Webb-Lunceford (Married To Medicine), Syleena Johnson (Grammy-nominated singer, R&B Divas), radio/television host and sports reporter Rashan Ali, and stand-up comedian Kiana Dancie, is described as one that will “empower and inspire African-American women” and deliver the “compelling, humorous and sincere perspective of the show’s hosts” on an array of topics.
Much like the dynamic of The Real, The View, and The Talk, Sister Circle will feature celebrity guest interviews and expert opinions. Separate from those shows though, the newest addition to the morning lineup will feature its own DJ — DJ Q — who will add a unique male point of view to the women’s discussion in between delivering the soundtrack for each episode.
Sister Circle is set to premiere this fall at 9 a.m. on TV One.
