It’s obvious that we wholeheartedly celebrate Black love here at ESSENCE. It’s what fuels us.
It’s also the fuel behind
Creed II, which details a story or fight and resilience, but also chronicles the love between Adonis, played by Michael B. Jordan, and Bianca, played by Tessa Thompson.
If you remember the first
Creed, released in theaters back in 2015, you’ll remember the very important scene where Bianca needed to take her braids out and Adonis sat her between his legs and helped her unravel and unbraid. It was nothing short of beautiful. No spoilers, but the love ride that these two are on in
Creed II will continue to melt your whole entire heart.
So on the red carpet during the world premiere of
