Her specialties include working with black women with symptoms of anxiety and depression, or who struggle with personal and professional relationships. She has extensive experience with black couples addressing emotional disconnection and dissatisfaction. She is the co-founder of Not So Strong, an initiative to improve the mental health and relationship functioning of black women through vulnerable storytelling.

Dr. Columbus Batiste is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist who has served as Chief of Cardiology since 2008. He has been fighting against health disparities in communities of color while lecturing around the world about the benefits of a whole food plant-based diet, exercise, and stress management. He launched Healthy Heart Nation; a non-profit organization that educates via lectures, documentaries, and print to at risk communities.
